The Bar Timer indicator is highly useful. The indicator plots the time left to the end of the bar or the amount of tick left to the end of the bar (On Tick Charts) on the top right corner of your chart. This is very useful for traders who like to trade on events and news, for those who like to trade on lower time frames, and especially useful for those of you who trade on tick charts. For the first time ever you can now know exactly how many more ticks are needed for a new bar to appear.
The DIG Bar Timer also includes a build in alert feature that allows you set the alert to a preset time before the end of the bar, or to a preset amount of ticks. This really comes in handy.
AAPL 5 Min Chart
Notice the Yellow Text on the top right corner. “Time Left – 2:24” which indicates that there are exactly 2 minutes and 24 seconds left to the end of the bar.
AA 240 Min Chart
Notice the Yellow Text on the top right corner. “Time Left – 1:01:44” which indicates that there is exactly 1 hour, 1 minute and 44 seconds left to the end of the bar.
GBPUSD 500 Tick Chart
Notice the Yellow Text on the top right corner. “Ticks Left – 383” which indicates that there are exactly 383 Ticks left to the end of the bar.
This is the Mega Load, this indicator works with Ticks, this is the first time you can actually know how many more ticks are needed to close the given bar. This indicator works as soon as you put it on the graph, NO NEED to wait till a whole bar is built.
The Build In Alert Feature
After numerous requests from our clients to personalize their indicator by adding a build it alert feature, we decided to add it as a build in feature for everyone.
How does the Alert feature Work?
You have a build in On/Off switch. If you choose to use the alert you can sellect either the number of seconds before the end of the bar or the number of ticks. As soon as the number of ticks or seconds left is smaller then the specified number an alert will pop up. Also the Text and Color of the DIG Bar Timer on the chart will change.
GBPJPY 644 Tick Chart
Please notice the unique 644 tick chart, our experts and our traders have found this unique and magical number to be very useful please DO TRY IT. The indicator was set to alert 100 ticks before the end of the bar, you can see that the text color turned to white and the word Alert appears next to it. Also a pop window is popped by TradeStation that looks like this.

Important Recommendation when using Tick Charts
If you are using our indicator on a tick chart we recommend to use the chart with Tick Count and not Trade Vol. Please go to Format Symbol, Settings Tab and make sure that – “For Volume, Use:” is set to Tick Count. This will give you the best possible performance TradeStation has to offer.

I tried an indicator like this in the past, but i had problems when i stated in for the first bar. I use bars of 1000 ticks and then i had to wait for a whole bar until timer showed right time.
Does your indicator do the same or will it work good on the first bar as well.

In the beginning when we started developing this indicator we also faced this problem, but now we can proudly say that we have solved it completely. It works perfectly on Tick, Minute, Daily, Weekly and Monthly bars. As soon as you add the indicator to the chart the timer will show the correct time or the correct number of ticks left till the end of the bar.

Dear Thawaban,
It is a hard question, its like asking why is the MACD set to 12,26,9.
Our Professional Traders have tested this number over and over again, and it yields really good results when our indicators are put on it.
We recommend you try it, and later on write about your experience.
